North Faces of Peaks above the Yukshin Gardan Glacier

The head of the Yukshin Gardan Glacier is in the centre of the photo. The glacier flows north to join the Khurdopin Glacier towards its terminus. The snowy mountain centre-left is Kanjut Sar (7760m), the third highest peak in the Hispar Muztagh after Distaghil Sar (7885m) and Kungyang Chhish (7852m). To its left is Peak c.6400m. The mountain centre-right is Yukshin Gardan Sar (7641m), the fifth highest peak of the Hispar Muztagh. Directly behind this mountain, and not visible, is Yutmaru Sar (7330m) (aka Jutmo Sar). The peak in the right of the photo is Skirish Sar (c.6400m). The photo is from the northerly ridge leading to the summit of Yazghil Sar (5964m). (Coordinates are for Kanjut Sar)
