I hiked all over this darn park before the start of a big conference in Phoenix. Neat little suburban gem. The Lyft driver who drove me here had never even heard of he area. The lady who picked me up asked: enjoy your hike? She picks visitors up here all the time!
Nice, cooler, weather for April 1
The day was very humid, even at 6 a.m. Followed Tr #44 up to the road and from there to the top, about 35 minutes round trip. Overcast, but views were nice.
Climbed this a few times as a training hike.
Hiked over from the visitor center, easy summit, reat views.
did this with my gf while visiting Phoenix. Cool views and easy trail. We had a little rain
Not a hard summit, or even very exciting. I mainly did it as it is part of the Phoenix Mountains Preserve. Although it is pretty centrally located within the other mountains.
