We camped at Glacier Lake on 7/9. Climbed up and down the same route on 7/10, and packed out.
This is a very fun climb. Alternating rock scramble and snow slope. Saw goats/sheep. Quite pretty, with view of Helens, Rainier and Goat Rocks all the way.
Current conditions:
1) mosquito clouds at and near trailhead (Killen Creek)
2) snow starts before Killen Creek Meadow. So trails were buried at times, need some navigation skill.
3) High Camp has some melted grassy "island"s for camping with running water.
4) we camped by Glacier Lake. No mosquito at all. Prior visitors have built some semi-circular wind barriers for camping. The lake is melted at the edge. Quite pretty. The lake water is very silty.
5) we started climbing Sunday morning (left camp shortly after 5am), snow was solid, so used crampons shortly after camp. Along the way, had to take off crampons 3 times, and put them back on 3 more times. On the way down, snow was softer, so after the upper snow cap, we only used crampons one more time.
6) flowers are coming, especially avalanche lilies. Saw a lot of green shoots. Beargrass were all gone already. Near High Camp, quite some phlox. At the lake, some Jacob's Ladder and buckwheat.

Back again!
Another successful climb of Mount Adams! An absolutely picture perfect time on Mount Adams. What a great place to spend some time.

Nice approach, loose ridge
Not a bad ascent route, but a horrible descent on all that loose junk. We were more than happy to get back to camp afterwards.

Blizzard!
We were blown off the mountain. An overnight storm hammered us all night. The tent collasped and filled with a foot snow. We stayed as warm as we could while getting wet thoughout the night. When the sun came up we made a mad dash for safety.
