Consolation in the Inconsolables
After 3 prior attempts were foiled due to horrible weather, we caught Cloudripper on a clear day and finally summited! Grabbed Vagabond en route from Green Lake also. There was a decent amount of snow up there already. I hope this bodes well for the season...we definitely need a wet winter to make up for the past 4 years.

I found this peak much more difficult than I was expecting. In particular, going over Vagabond Peak on the way to and on the way back was exhausting. Also, one has to be good at hiking on rocks to make this one, as once one leaves the trail, it's nothing but rocks. That said, the summit itself was incredible! The views were perhaps the best I've ever seen (and I've seen quite a few). Also, the difficulty made the sense of accomplishment that much more intense.
