Nice view!

Hello Bob,

This peak seems to Yutufeng by Chainese, Galakare by Tibetan (phonetic is not strict). It is means the rabbit-ear, because it has twin peaks. The elevation is 5578m. This is one of the watersheds of Bipeng Valley and Shuangqiaogou Valley of Four Girls Mountains. This summer, some foreign mountaineer had a try to ascent (I am not sure for the result).

A lot of thanks for posting.

Re: Nice view!

Kenzo,

Thanks. This peak is not at the headwaters of Bipeng, but a bit to the north along the ridge. On my map it is called Taizi Feng or crown prince peak. I can get an elevation from a topo sheet to see if we are referring to the same thing. I'll revert.

Bob
