slotting ourselves
w/aaron, steve and jim- what a climb! led P1 up the fun cracks with great moves in the upper section, yet the day was defined by P2.
in the dark slot at the base of P2, we missed the correct crack and went all the way to the back of the slot. aaron and i both ascended the slot for awhile wondering where in the world the route goes once this chimney-like feature opens up. fortunately steve located a crack(the proper one) in the middle of the slot and we all finessed our ways to the summit as evening alpenglow illuminated the area. stayed on top for awhile taking photos and enjoying our accomplishment before rappeling off this beauty as darkness engulfed us! a lot longer than expected, 7.5 hours, yet well worth every moment.
