Northeast Face

Leading pitch 6/7 per topo of Northeast Face route on Pingora. Climber above me is pulling through the 5.8 wide groove crux of the route. The 5.9 variation goes up the crack on the right thru. patches of grass (August 4, 2005).

Nice looking granite!

Nice job on your climb, good series of shots. Looks like a lot of fun. Saw your TR in the Weekend thread. You are crazy, that is a lot of driving!

If we did not nail this 50 Classic this year we would have little interest/motivation in doing it in the future I think. Nice area; OK climbing; very good rock.

got to base late. saw 2 parties starting up. figured we'd probably get hosed on the way up so tossed in some extra rain gear.
