"So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life."

WayneFry - Feb 28, 2012 12:14 am Date Climbed: Feb 26, 2012Good day on the NE Ridge
Up the northeast ridge and down the northeast bowl. Great view of the surrounding peaks.
Vertigo soul - May 24, 2011 11:33 am Date Climbed: May 20, 2011Late season descent
Went up a few days after a recent late spring dump of 1-2 feet. Too bad it turned into soggy mashed potatoes, and wet slides all over. Still...the view is worth it, and turns are turns no matter what.
SKI - Mar 31, 2011 9:12 am Date Climbed: Mar 30, 2011Great Descent
Fun turns from the summit. Stay in the trees if the bowl is baked. Note that the gate to Spring Creek Rd is usually gated after a good snow- the sign says to park in the Sno Park a mile down but you may park at the gate entrance so long as locals can get through. A steep and somewhat arduous skin up. Should take between 2.5 and 3.5 hours from car to summit.

A quick snowshoe of Mt. Tallac via the NE Ridge: 2.5 hrs up, 1 hr down.
96avs01 - Mar 3, 2008 11:55 am Date Climbed: Mar 1, 2008Mixed conditions
Ascended the NE ridge, toting my board. Conditions on descent were a mix of wind-blown powder above 8K, then a crusty ice layer for about 500', and for the finale a nice 8-12" slush layer. Could have been worse!
