Northern neighbours of Skrlatica

Here are some of the main mountains of the Martuljek Group, of course much lower than Škrlatica, our stand point. On the left is Špik. Along the left skyline the normal ascent route from Krnica comes up. The lower mountain to the right of Špik is Mala Ponca, reachable by easy climbing of UIAA I degree from the notch right of the summit. Then comes the broad Velika Ponca. The normal ascent route on it goes from the highest point of its S face scree fields (UIAA II). And finally in the shade on the very right is Visoki Oltar. From this side the normal ascent route (UIAA II) comes up from the notch right of the summit. August 23rd, 2024.
