Camped near Dead Horse Lake, next day climbed Wasatch Peak (the correct name for 'Wasatch BM"), then over to NW Wasatch Peak (aka Wapiti Peak). To return to our camp, we dropped down the west side of Wapiti and made our way to the West Fork of the Blacks Fork River trail. The weather turned to Thunder/Lightening and Hail on the descent.

Tokewanna Ridge Traverse
https://youtu.be/Q4G3n-1btF8 For a full trip report check out our video on you tube at peaks in the bag. Some call this peak Wapiti which makes it vey confusing. Getting to this peak from Tokewanna Is no joke, very loose scree and some snow even in July. This was the longest slowest part of the day. This peak to Wasatch Benchmark is Not really that hard 20-30min or so.

Windy
It looks like there's been some major improvements to the road leading to the trailhead. Tons of rocks and potholes have been cleared out and everything has been graded all the way to the sign in register. If you don't have a high clearance vehicle you'll want to park right before the stream crossing. It's 1.1 miles to the trailhead after fording the river
I was going to go for both Wasatch peaks but the wind at the top was close to 50 MPH, ended up turning around. As soon as I got back to my truck it started to rain, that's probably going to be it for the year with the remnants of Hurricane Rosa on the way

Beautiful hike
21 mile day trip with Moogie737 from East Fork Blacks Fork. First climbed Wasatch BM, then this one, then Tokewanna.
Hit Wasatch, NW Wasatch (Wapiti) and Tokewanna in one gigantic effort, an effort orchestrated by the inimitable ZeeJay. From the East Fork Black Forks TH. Plan on 13 to 14 hours if you hit all three. Good weather a must. Patience is necessary. Fun is a given.
1990: Via North Ridge from the west over "NW Wasatch" and to Wasatch. Solo all the way from East Fork Bear River on a weekend while working at teh scout camp(off duty). Two days, 40 miles. I was in much better shape then.
1991: Via North Ridge from the west. This time I brought a partner, Nathan. Nathan didn't quite reach the summit, but I went ahead and did so.
I've also been to the surrounding ridges and peaks with various people between 1988 and 2000.
