Route Description


This trail connects from the lower reaches of the Deer Trail to the summit of Blue Hill and the overlook. The trail heads up a buttress of the hill called Oak Ridge as the name states. This trail is .75 miles in length and inclines from the southwest to the east. Heading in that direction on the trail you'll gain about 80 feet to the overlook. This hike is a beautiful nature walk through some pretty pine stands. There are wonderful views as well on top with all of the trails here.
