Full Loop  Sucess!

Parked at Red/White TH, hiked to snowbird, walked on roads to Alta, then hopped on Lower Albion Basin trail to Cecret Lake, bagged everything between incl. White Baldy, then down standard Red Pine trail. Alltrails clocked 17.3mi, 6460' gain. As others have mentioned, Red Baldy had a bit more exposure than I was anticipating, but nothing too crazy if you're comfortable on these ridgelines, maybe high 3rd class, low 4th depending on path. This was my last section of the WURL, did 4 sections in 4 consecutive Saturdays. Such a cool long loop!

Went for a "run" along the Bullion Divide  Sucess!

A group of friends and I "ran" this loop. Was a great day that even contained SOME Type-1 fun. It's beautiful up there this time of year.

Followed the route East to West (Alta to White Pine drainage). Skipped White Baldy at the end to save time (~7 hours total). Took several food and picture breaks. Were extra careful scrambling around Red Baldy where I believe we encountered the most exposure, in addition to the ridge between Hidden and Twin Peaks.

Went from Alta to White Pine.

Sunset, Baldy, Hidden, AF Twins, Red Top.

Had a light backpacking setup as we were planning on camping and continuing on the ridge, but decided to call it.

Bullion Divide  Sucess!

Great hike. Lovely views, and a little something for everyone. A little bouldering, a bit of a knife edge (nothing off putting) some nice summits, etc. Up Mt. Baldy and over Hidden Peak, AF Twins, Red Top and down to White Pine Lake

Bullion Divide  Sucess!

We took the tram up and started at Hidden Peak. We then went all the way to White Baldy, hitting the summits of American Fork Twin Peaks, Red Top, and Red Baldy in between. We then descended to White Pine Lake. I was really impressed by this route. There was a lot of scrambling. The views were perhaps the best I have seen in the Wasatch Mountains.

Bullion Divide  Sucess!

We started by taking the Snowbird Tram to the top of Hidden Peak (first tram ran late and didn't get us up until just before noon, though) for a fun day full of scrambling and awesome views of the Alpine Ridge. We were cruising for the first part (made it over AF Twins, Red Top, and Red Baldy in about two hours), but our progress slowed significantly on the more sustained sections of scrambling along White Baldy's east ridge. Descending to White Pine Lake and getting back to the trailhead took a bit longer than anticipated as well, but overall it was an awesome route with incredible views the entire way. See "Good As Gold" trip report for details.

Yep.  Sucess!

Starts boring, but finishes strong. The ridges on Red and White Baldy had some nice scrambling. I dismounted via WB's north ridge, then into the valley to the northeast, which was a bit tricky in places, but worked. Trip report.

I've managed to complete it twice, been chased off by Thunder storms on other attempts. Also a few times optioned out of White Baldy due to group fatigue.

6-1/2 out of 7

Lots of snow / lots of wind. Had some route-finding issues on Red Baldy and ran out of time on White Baldy, descended to White Pine Lake / Trailhead, finished with 6 out of the 7 summits. Loved the scrambling!

...and a little farther.  Sucess!

I have never heard of this hike, but always wanted to hike the ridge line from Alta to Lone peak. I had planned on someone coming with but they all bailed at the last moment. I had also planned on two full days. When darkness came I felt so good that I hike through the night.

All in all, it took 25.5 hour(part of that was hiking up the road to my car from the mouth of the canyon to Alta) and about 18,000 feet of elevation change.

Next time in the winter!

with the Wasatch Mtn Club  Sucess!

Sugarloaf to Red Baldy, with a short sidetrip to the "Bastard Son", the third peak of American Fork Twins. Incredible route and a great group of people to hike with. Hazy day; there must have been a fire somewhere. My favorite part was climbing up Red Baldy.

Fun one  Sucess!

Awesome traverse. Started at White Pine trailhead. Up pass White Pine lake then to White Baldy. Up over Red Baldy and Red Top Mtn. Then over to west, south (?) and east American Fork Twin. Down to Hidden peak then up to Mt. Baldy and Sugarloaf. Descend down to Secret Lake and the just hiked down a ski run to Albion Lodge. Soloed so no car shuttle so I just hopped on my bike and rode down to White Pine Trailhead. Total time was 9 hours.
