South Slope
Climbed the South Slope as a long day trip. Total time from car - to summit - to car was 11 hours 32 minutes from West Fork Rock Creek Trailhead

Straightforward hike
From Ship Lake, then south up to Marker Lake, then to SW up to plateau, then east to summit. Easy day hike from Ship Lake. Nice view of Castle Mtn and Whitetail Pk. Fishing was poor at Ship Lake, too much wind. Nice fish but small. Wife put back all that she caught, even the nicest ones, which is the way to do it.

North Slope
Camped at Ship Lake and climbed snow filled north facing couloir to the point where it joined east facing permanent snow field.

Where's the snow
South Slopes (ish) after deciding there was just too little snow (and too much ice) to try the North this year in August. Traversed to the lower tower to look for other climbing potential too.
