The original Polish traverse going C1 - C2 - Independencia is rarely used anymore. Most guided groups now use C1 Polish - C3 Guanaco - Berlin/Colera. This creates a somewhat confusing nomenclature when chatting on the mountain.
And it got me confused trying to descend by Colera - C2 Polish while everyone except my compass and GPS was directing me to C3 Guanaco. I came up from the normal route.
