...after a successful lead on the Corkscrew pitch of 'Stolen Chimney'. Quite possibly the freakiest and most scary easy climbing I have ever done. It is obvious at this point why the tower is a desert classic. Oct, 2007.

Camn you explain...

...the vertical crack/seam in the first two thirds of the photo? Whereas everything else is horizontal strata in this sandstone, the vertical line looks out of place, almost as like the "Compressor Route" on Torre Egger in Patagonia. Got me baffled here. The photo is superb, kudos to the climbing team and photographer--10/10
