Did Angel's Landing in the morning and observation point in the afternoon. Great views of Zion.
In my top three list.
Amazing hike, especially the lower section in the canyon
Late March is a fantastic time to hike this route, first part is a decent amount of climbing but its definitely worth it! Round trip time was about 4 1/2 hours.
As freeway trails go, Observation Point is by far my most favorite maintained trail in Zion National Park. Steep switchbacks, slot canyons, and stunning views! The first 1/3 of the hike is tucked up against the East side of the Main canyon and can be hiked later in the morning before the Summer Sun makes it's way over the canyon to heat things up.
my favorite view of Zion Canyon
Breathtaking hike from Weeping Rock. Spotted 11 bighorn sheep as well.
Started the day with Angels Landing and wrapping it up with Observation Point. Weather was perfect and hike up scenic. Love this place!
Easy trail to follow, hot, great views.
To various peaks
Great day hike to end a backpacking weekend spent in Kolob Canyon. Loved the slot canyon halfway through the hike. Fabulous!
Great perspective and views from the day prior where I was on he west rim
Hiked the East Mesa Trail. It was relatively free of crowds even with it being Memorial Day weekend.
Beautiful hike with amazing views. The lower trail had some slippery ice in spots after a snowy week!
part of a week of wandering around the Zion area.

06/27/09 Climbed in route to Mystery Canyon. Beautiful View. Loved it.
Morning trip to Angels Landing, Afternoon to Observation Point
Not a terribly bright idea to start this on at noon on a 100 degree day :)

the best day hike i partook during my 4-day trip to Zion. quite a fun hike, good scenery along the way, and a fantastic view of the park from the top
I took the first shuttle out and got to the top at sunrise. Beautiful view at the top and when exposed, but the canyons were amazing.
