Great views! Few people!  Sucess!

Climbed with my 6-month pregnant wife. She's such a trooper! Barely complained! Had a close encounter with a Bighorn sheep and her kid on the way up. Despite it being February, we didn't have to hike through any snow...

Very Tired  Sucess!

Did this hike after doing the narrows the day before. I was super tired but motivated, and the view was fantastic. I am glad I did it.

from Weeping Rock Trailhead  Sucess!

I thought this hike was more interesting than Angel's Landing, and not nearly as crowded.

Route Climbed: Weeping Rock  Sucess!

All by ourselves at the point looking out over the valley - it even rivaled Yosemite. Amazing.

Route Climbed: From Weeping Rock trailhead  Sucess!

drove the 6 hours from Los Angeles, rushing to a Utah appointment, resting the night with random campers at Zion, then revisited these huge red rocks of my youth, hiked so many years ago when I came here with my family. and this was the first trail I revisited. and oh what a lovely lovely revisiting, indeed

Poaching  Sucess!

We approached the switchbacks only to find that their had been a landslide across them. We poached the trail anyways, and found a large amount of sand across the trail. But with footsteps already in front of us we proceeded on. Ice covered the shadows in the canyon and on the rim. One of the best overall views of Zion.

Route Climbed: Trail from Weeping Rock TH Date Climbed: July 7, 2005  Sucess!

Another beautiful hike with abundance of breath taking views into some parts of Zion not visible from the main canyon. Also through couple of some beautiful “mini” slot canyons. Even through we were there in high season we meet only about 5 people during this hike. Unbelievable, I guess no one wanted to deal with the little harsh elevation gain in this hot summer month. We started hiking early in the morning (about 7:30am) and definitely felt the advantage of the shaded switch backs right after the weeping rock trail. The area around this trail at the top is almost like somewhere else, but Zion, but than there is the view and everything is right back.

Hiked/jogged this after walking up Angels Landing earlier in the morning. Some great views along the way, especially into the Zion backcountry, which is simply gorgeous. Enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours.
