October approach

October approach

The shaft is sustained for three pitches and involves steep climbing on icy runnels, snow-covered rock, this leads to the crux pitch consisting of two chock stone boulders to drytool around. It is hard to say, but the person in this picture is either Brad Shilling, Tim Ball, or Doug Calwell in Fall conditions.

Isn't Shilling @ the City?

If so, he's the sheriff when it comes to Idaho climbing.

The New Sheriff in Town

Yes Brad is the top dog as far as the Albion Range goes, no doubt. However there is a different Sheriff who knows the secrets of the Lost River Range better than anyone.
He's the Sheriff.
