Classic  Sucess!

Great, relatively moderate route! Very fun. More type I than type II fun on this one. Warm enough to swim in Gem lake on the way back. Five star day.

Good times  Sucess!

Stood atop North Trapper for the second time. Baker Lake is still frozen and there's plenty of snow up high. Encountered wide variety of snow conditions; wait for the sun to hit the snow if you don't have crampons.

Yessss!  Sucess!

Terrific day--unusually nice day (winter slammed the door shut the next day!)--great, great outing on one of the Bitterroot's great peaks!

Fun  Sucess!

Climbed with old friends and new, on a perfect summer day in October! Temp 55-60 deg. no wind, bright blue sky, smiling faces everywhere. Well done To All!

Perfect  Sucess!

Climbed for the second time. This outing was with Forest Dean (Missoula, MT) and Nathan (Salmon, ID). Weather was close to perfect. My first time doing a climb in snow-filled couloirs. Hard work, to be sure.

North Trapper, a summit I thought I'd never see. But with the help of Tim Sharp and good weather, all 6 of us reached the summit.

What a great outing!
