Olympic Summit

From Highway 40 in Kananaskis Country, Alberta you can see the SE Ridge of Olympic Summit. The summit is actually the high point of the ridge leading to Mount Allan but is named due to the popular ski area on it's northern aspect. It was also named because of it's history. In 1988 Calgary, AB was host of the Winter Olympics and this was the site for the Alpine events. Highway 40, Kananaskis Recreation Area 2008.
