I think the large amount of sky gives a good perspective of how small the people are relative to the mountain. :P

The amount of sky was chosen on purpose - reason was exactly described by Rematore.

Versteh ich nicht! Die Menschen sind doch fast gleich groß. Wie soll man da die Unwichtigkeit der Menschen den dominierenden Bergen gegenüberstellen? Was hat der viele Himmel mit der Mensch-Berg-Beziehung zu tun?

Es stimmt schon, die Grössenrelation Berg-Mensch bleibt gleich, egal wieviel Himmel oder Gletscher man auf das Bild nimmt. Es geht ja nur um die Wirkung des Bildes - und diese schöne Situation der relativen Höhe des Breithorn-Plateaus durch die anschliessende Senke zu Liskamm / Pollux / Castor kommt durch die Wahl dieses Bildausschnittes gut zur Geltung.

Anyway, thanks for your vote and for enjoying the picture - that's what counts. Ahemm, "counting" seems not to be a good issue today... ;)))
