On the ridge - 6300m
Looking back at the lower part of Koskulak's NW ridge. Bad weather rolling in from the north. Someone had left a fixed rope on the traverse and I followed it to where it ended at about 6350m. The recce was over and I went back down to rest and eat for the summit attempt.
Note the big cornice on the right. A long drop to the Kalaxong glacier awaits those who goes too close to the edge.
