Well, the snow is fine - only, I'm afraid it will not last till Christmas. So, we may have another green Christmas ;)

Yes, Eric, we made a quick decision and did a two day drive. On Sunday we visited salt mines in Hallein, then went to Hintersee, where we reserved a room. We had no idea where to go - if at all in that weather. But coming to the end of the valley we saw that the ski tour on Hoher Zinken is very popular. And powder snow was wonderful.
