On the way towards Auernig

From Malga Auernig we reached a small, shallow valley between Auernig and Garnitzenberg / Monte Carnizza. Notice the type of rocks which, unlike limestone, hold water so a lively creek is meandring across the alpine meadow. June 5th, 2010.
