Perfect Geometry

excellent picture! It has everything: life, photo quality, geometry, extraordinary landscape.

Re: Perfect Geometry

The two on top were father and son. They were joined soon after the photo was taken by the father of the father - so there were three generations on top. The grandfather was 76 years old ! I shall be posting some photos of his climb shortly.

Best wishes,

Re: Perfect Geometry

I agree. Unfortunately it's a little bluish, I assume from the scan process. However, because of the above reasons still 4 stars.

Re: Perfect Geometry

I have to agree about the bluishness. I find I have to reduce the blue a little on nearly all my scans, whether negative or slide, and I obviously did not spend enough time and care on this one. Having said that, the atmosphere in high summer in the British hills often does have a hazy, bluish tint, so the view won't be that far removed from reality.

Thanks for your comments,

Best wishes,

Tony
