One of my first mountain experiences (Szani)

One of my first mountain experiences. It was in 1982, at my age of 12, in the hillside of Vihren (Pirin mountain range, Bulgaria). This time I reached 2400 m. My father didn't want to go further. But 3 years later I could convince my father at the same point to go up to the summit of Vihren.

looks like a million years ago but it is back in 1982!

Don't forget: we were in the communist block at this time! Is the quality of the black and photo a problem? What should be appreciated is that our family had a camera! Most of the people didn't have any at this time.

And thanks for the congrat on reaching the summit. I enjoyed it a lot as a child

YUou know, i think that old photos HAVE to be poor quality.
It is kinda like a charm for them.
