From Icehouse Saddle  Sucess!

Beautiful summer day up high, but most of Inland Empire was covered by a blanket of fog. Solid views of Baldy from along the entire ridge.

Icehouse Canyon to Kelly's camp to ridge

2nd attempt in the snow. Too much ice and snow, no cramp-ons, but made it within a quarter-mile before calling it quits. Beautiful!

Ontario Peak Trail  Sucess!

Guess we took the relatively easy way up - via Big Horn. Awesome views but the dead trees are sad. Good to have bagged this peak now I have no reason to go back to filthy Icehouse Cyn trailhead!

Out O' Shape  Sucess!

Day hike from Icehouse with cold wind blowing on top. Marine layer below the peak made for cool pictures. Kelly's camp was covered in about 6 inches of snow. Great hike!

Trilogy  Sucess!

Climbed Ontario, Bighorn and Cucamonga Peaks. Started at the icehouse trail head. I only planned on Ontario and Bighorn but Cucamonga was right there so I did it again. 8 1/2 hours car to car. I almost stepped on a southern pacific rattle snake on the descent about a half mile from the car. Beautiful day to be outdoors.
