I just noticed this one after seeing Dennis's route listing from the north (just added). I wish I had been interested in peaks like these when I lived in so cal. I now need to return and start enjoying them when I get the chance. Thanks for adding this.
Always good to hear from you Dean. Atleast you have an over abundance of amazing peaks in your locale. I wouldn't mind living up there and catching up on some of the northern summits. Hopefully one day I will have more time and money and I can get those northern summits. Thanks for checking my page out.
I think the north approach described in Dennis Poulin's Ord Mountain Road route page is a better approach than the one one the main page and Andy Zdon's book. Less winding around on back roads. To get to the west side route just continue another couple of miles on road 7525 and you arrive at the notch from the north.
