Your photos ... beautiful. This mountain reminds me of the Sierra Nevada of California.
It's rock ... granite in composition? The tree ... it's related to OAK trees. Has the same unique shape and structure. Cheers to you!

I don't know about relations between OAK trees and beech (Fagus sylvatica) but it is a great model, same as my favorite Zurim mountain. Thanks for you've noticed beauty of this details.
