Hi Charles,
It is common to climb Gran Zebru in early summer because there is after the firn had gone a high danger of rockfall. Ortler is climbable the whole summer.

Hi Sebastian, evidently the normal route on the Ortler is quite dangerous at the moment. That´s the way I wanted to come down. :o(
