Did this with friends from the Otokomi Lake Trail.
I think I've climbed this mountain. It's over by Rising Sun, right?
Solo adventure of Otokomi to East flattop, and then to Singleshot. Returned back down Otokomi to the rose creek trail.
Did the ridge walk from Napi point.
Ridge walk from St. Mary's

2012 - w/ Joshua Terry, Colin Gavin and Garrett Gilbert.
Climbed with Sean, Garrett, and Colin from the Otokomi Lake trail. Nice scramble on the way up, and the summit views of the Skyline Experience are great! There was a funny scene in the krumholtz near the summit involving the finding of ticks! Eewww!
Traversed from Napi.
Love the lack of bushwhacking.
This was our first stop on a long ridge walk over to Napi point. A great route. Very windy and tons of scree on the way up.
Last stop after walking Rose Ridge to East Flattop.
Hiked with James & Alan. We went the way you recommended. It took us right up. The rocks just before East Flattop were fun to work through. Singleshot is amazing in terms of shear drop offs. Coming down the boundary trail started off great then progressively deteriorated, but it still got us to the campground and then we took the foot bridge over to the Visitor's Center were we left a car. The mosquitoes were brutal. One got stuck in my throat (I almost puked), two got stuck in my eyes when I blinked, one got in my nose. I wore my rain jacket most of the way down for protection. It was warm and I sweated like a pig. However, all in all it was a very good day. Lots of views and little wind.
My first Glacier summits. A great day until we missed the boundary trail coming off of Napi Point. We followed a creek down only to surprise a large golden griz drinking from it. Luckily, he took off running when he saw us. This is when I learned the importance of making noise in those parts.
Climbed this spectacular route 2 times in the summer of 96. Both with wonderful people.

Approached from Otokomi Lake Trail. Easy walk to East Flattop Mountain from the summit. Incredible hurricane force winds on East Flattop forced me off my feet at one point; scratched my camera, lost a lens cap and my hat over a cliff and into the Wild Creek valley. Truly unbelievable to experience wind like that! Running short on daylight so we descended at the saddle south of Napi Point. Found remnants of the old Napi Point trail and used this along with a series of double-track paths to St. Mary.
Also climbed from the Otokomi Lake Trail on May 14, 2011. Lots of snow on the trail. Followed a snow chute to just south of the summit. Very windy! Exceptional views of a plethora of snow-capped peaks.
