In this mountain, you can find the highest ski station ( the only one ) in Africa. Due to the fact that there's a lift, a lot of people don't climb it but go to the top and then make ski or visit the top. The easiest route is easy, even in winter. Only problem is during powerfull wind because the route go through the ridge
from marrakech : bus and taxi to the station of l'Oukameiden ( about 70 km from marrakech at 2600 m) From the station, follow the road until the Tizi oukameiden. Turn at your left and make the round from the small hill using the right route. When you have reached the foot of the ridge, follow (direction E) the rocks route. Count about 2 at 3 hours to reach the top at 3200 m. At the top, go near the lift and take the coomb which is at the right side of the lift. Reaching the middle of the lift way, pass the left ridge and continue snow-boarding at the left from the lift in the big coomb, until you reach the start of the lift. Material : forecast -> raquets, cramps, ski or snow-board
