Our Ride

June 23, 2008 A local from the village of Kia Neshinan guided us through the forest to a logging road where we were lucky enough to come across these nice men who gave us a ride to the coastal town of Tonkabon (2.5 hrs on a muddy logging road in the middle of nowhere through the forest). The man seemed to be documenting the destruction of the forest by industrial logging. He kept taking picture of logs and logging trucks to send them to some T.V. show in Tehran. Those are our backpacks on the roof.
