Five days of fun !
Climbed with Mike Busby for five days: Schoolroom, New Funtier, South Park, Scottish Gullies and the Shithouse Wall.
Led a couple of WI3's in South Park -- my first ice leads in three years.
--
Climbed with Steve for 3 days in Feb. 2009. Started in the Schoolroom, then moved on to South Park, New Funtier, and the Scottish Gullies areas.
--
Also spent 4 days here with Calvin Kilcrease in Feb. 2006 - areas included the Schoolroom, South Park, and New Funtier, mostly WI3-4. Incredible ice everywhere - I thought I had died and gone to heaven ...

Ice paradise
Climbed for three days (plus one route by headlamp the night we arrived) in Schoolroom, Grad School, New Funtier, Lower Bridge, Scottish Gullies, and South Park. I felt like we barely scratched the surface. Can't wait to go back.
Great variety of climbs from steep to easy leads. Spend a week or a weekend here.

Great climbing!
Headed down with Haliku and Axe. It was a great trip that provided more routes than we had time. Excited to return and put the new crampons to use.

Ouray Ice Park
14 routes in 2 days, great opportunity for Zach to gain a ton of experience in a short time. He was willing to do the driving, so how could I resist. We did two routes the night we got there completely in the dark with headlamps. He said that actually helped him more than just about anything. Can't wait to get some of the back country done in this area. Don't know if that will happen since I go to Canada so much, but I have to admit, it was nice climbing in 0+C for a change.
