600 Extreme SPF

I paid $50 for this bag after being stuck in an August cold front with nothing but a bedsheet. This is the perfect bag for sweltering hot summers because it breathes so well; at the same time, it will keep you warm into Fall and Spring. Lafuma rates the bag down to an extreme temperature of 35 degrees, meaning it should not be used down to that temperature, but if you encounter plummeting weather, you will be okay. The 600 Extreme SPF is also extremely small, making it wonderful for backpacking; also, mine fits inside the stuff sack of my 15 degree bag for extra winter time warmth. For the $50 that I paid, I don't know that I could have found a better value.
