This is a very good backpack for short hiking/climing trips as well as snowsports. Perfect for aspired minimalists.
It is short so when attached tight it does not change position on your back or get stuck in narrow places. It is also very light and has a comfortable alpine back system. Multiple pockets and attaching options let you carry additional gear on the outside what makes it easily accessible.

For minimalists
What I suppose most hikers experience is that the bigger the capacity of the backpack the more one will take for a trip :) Most of the things being not really necessary. To overcome this I forced myself to be a minimalist by restricting the capacity of the backpack. Cruise 24 is perfect for that. It fits all necessary things for a daily hike or climb (camera, jacket, power bars, water, etc.) and necessary gear is attached on the outside of the backpack that I can easily reach.
