Product Description

A lightweight 2-person tent that is relatively inexpensive ($120) and great for backpacking. Easy set-up with fly and a vestible for storage. Excellent ventilation.

My opinion: I've spent ten nights in this thing while backpacking this summer in the sierras. Usually there would be condensation if I didn't stake out the side flaps; if I didn't then they stuck to the mesh inner tent and there would be condensation. It comes with 12 stakes and four guylines and I used only five skakes. The vestibule is small, only room for about two pairs of shoes. I shared this tent with one of my buddies who is a little over six feet and he fit in it fine (not much streching room for either of us...). Another thing about the vestibule is that it is difficult for the person furthest from the opening to get out without disturbing the other person sleeping. Split between two people the weight is generally worth it to keep your stuff dry in those Sierra thundershowers and to keep the evil skeeters out.
After these ten nights of scouting abuse there is one hole in a corner from the seam ripping... grr... Its probably from one night where we were on a slope and my one tentmate kept sliding right down his thermarest an onto the bottom tent wall. Abuse that most people can avoid (I didn't slip as much with my z-lite for some reason). Also, I didn't use a groundcloth but the bottom of the tent is fine.
Ok... For the 100 bucks paid for it, it was a great shelter. I'd use it in fall and spring too, but I didn't have it yet.

great value
we'll see if it performs well. Purchased it on sale for $99, set it up and it is light weight. Might be tight for two people, but luxurious for one-person. Easy setup, even for the first time. I liked how easy it was to fit into the bag provided; I hate it when tents are impossible to fit in the given bag. Should be a great tent... I will update for sure.

update: It performed well. It is for two people and nothing else in the tent. The vestibule is too small for the gear of two though. I love the ease of setup and the weight!
