Over the course of the day, extra weight accumulates to cause unnecessary fatigue. The Hotline, however, won't be the cause. Our lightest single rope, the Hotline sheds nearly two pounds (1 kg) from your load. Perfect for long routes, 60 meters of the Hotline weighs nearly the same as 50 meters of a 10.5 mm rope. Weighs 58 g/m.

Super light lead line. Good rope for hard redpoints or alpine routes.

This is the rope I use for alpine rock....not the crags. Check it out on the Pingora page (it's fuchsia). Very smooth rope to belay, clip, and rappel. The weight of this rope vs my 10.2 during approaches makes a big difference. Unless I do a twin-rope system, this rope is the bomb for the hills.

I Love these ropes !!!! The weight difference makes a HUGE , POSITIVE difference to me (probably because I'm getting old)...and the cord handles well to boot ; quite smooth on belay and rappel. The sheath is very abraision resistant....and its TRUE that 60m of this weighs less than 50m of 10.5 !!!! TRY THEM !!!!!! YOU'LL LOVE THEM !!!!!!
