this film follows the BBC sponsored expedition in March 1999 to the North Face of Everest, in search of the bodies of George Mallory and Andrew Irvine who disappeard on June 8th 1924 just 240 meters from the summit "going strong for the top". What the expedition discovered made headline news around the world.
This documentary is classic Nova quality. Nova has a history of producing outstanding material and this is no exception. The cinematography is good and the narration is clear and easy for the non-mountaineer types to understand. I really enjoyed the old films clips of early mountaineering on Everest. Highly recommend.
