Product Description

Pack the Marmot Men's PreCip Jacket as your main shell during ultralight backpacking missions, or stash this highly-packable waterproof jacket in your bag as an emergency layer in case your heavyweight hard shell develops a leak. Minimalist without leaving out any vital fit or finish details, the Precip has a versatile array of features. From underarm venting to full seam taping, and a carefully cut fit that provides full range of upper body motion you'll be hard-pressed to find an excuse to leave home without it.

Angel-Wing Movement shapes the jacket specifically for a wide, free range of motion at the arms and shoulders
A double storm flap covers the front zipper and secures with a hook-and-loop closure for added protection from the rain

Wasatch SummitsGood overall.

Voted 5/5

After getting soaked after getting off a local summit here in Utah during a cloudburst, I decided it was time to get a better rain jacket. What sold me on this one is that there are no seams on the shoulder area where pack straps might allow water into the seams. I've used this in similar conditions mentioned above and have come back to the trailhead fairly dry. It is light and packs up nicely.
