Don't fret over which gaiter is right for the day's objective--these gaiters fit over your approach shoes as well as your plastic mountaineering boots

Uppers feature tough 100% nylon construction with the REI Elements® laminate for waterproof, breathable protection
The lower half feature four-way stretch Schoeller® WB Formula Extreme, which provides a form-fitting seal over your footwear
WB refers to the waterproof, breathable coating; Extreme fabric is built with nylon, Cordura® nylon, polyurethane and Lycra® spandex
Easy-on/off Velcro® flap along the front; secures with a nylon webbing band and cam buckle at the top
A loop inside the gaiter attaches to speed buckles on plastic boots, or use the traditional lace hook
Adjustable and super-durable, the strap across the instep helps anchors the gaiter down

Pros: Very simple light weight gaiters. Decently inexpensive and good for beginners. Lower half are very durable while and stretch material.

Cons: bottoms aren't contoured to fit tightly againist the boot. Allows minimal snow under gaiter. The calf is cut for a thicker leg. It tends slip down on thinner legs.

Great gaiter for beginners to intermediate climbers.
