Product Description:Waterproof-Breathable shells rely on an efficient DWR to keep the garment fabric from wetting out and disabling vapor transport thru the PTFE membrane. The best measure of water repellency is Contact Angle, and the contact angle of the typical fluorocarbon DWR is about 110-120. Ross Nanotechnology has produced a new treatment with a contact angle of 160-185. This is close to perfect repellency.
Product will be released to public mid 2012.
