An all-round excellent shoe for approaches, scrambling, light hiking, bouldering, and urban outings. Very durable. I have worn them for a variety of uses in a variety of conditions, and have always had comfortable feet. Though they don't purport to be waterproof, I have found they resist water pretty well (dew from wet grass, occassional splash in streams, etc.).

I hesitate to give them 5-stars because they are a bit heavy and clunky.

Heavy and clunky for sure. Good urban shoes but I don't care for them on the trail.
