Summit Series, The North Face X-Frame Suspension, MSA² Backpanel, Aerofoam Backpanel

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

X-Frame™ Suspension mirrors the natural movements of the body in motion, providing a lightweight and efficient full suspension that comfortably carries heavy pack loads
Carbon fiber stays are 40% lighter than aluminum and feature an engineered flex profile for optimal performance during movement.

Maximum Surface Area (MSA2) Backpanel evenly disperses pack load for uniform contact over the entire surface area of the back.

Breathable aerofoam backpanel wicks moisture away from the body to keep you dry and comfortable.

Independent suspension backpanel connects backpanel to the pack via two strips of stretch Cordura® to allow the suspension to stay conformed to the user rather than the pack load.

Fully adjustable torso with adjustable shoulder straps to fit a variety of torso lengths.

New shoulder straps and hipbelt—fully adjustable for custom fit.

Lightweight 210D Dyneema Uberfabric is ultralight and incredibly durable.

Extended storm skirt to use pack as an emergency bivy.

Color-coded main closure straps
Compression straps to secure and tighten heavy loads
Reflective cord loops for nighttime visibility
New removable Orca lid prevents items from falling out even when zipper is left open
Wand pockets on sides
Dual haul loops
Double base fabric for reinforcement
Crampon pocket on pack face
Adjustable ski slots allow for a range of ski widths
Hydration compatible: contains bladder sleeve and hose port

I just ordered this backpack and will take it to NH (Mt. Washington) and Mexico (Pico de Orizaba) this year. I will update this review once I use this very good looking backpack.
I gave it 5 stars for looks only. (at least for now).

Paid $149.00 @ Bobwards.com (no tax or S&H fee). :))

The internal space without anything allows you to distribute the weight in the bes way;

it' s a light backpacking (very strong) that is suitable for intensive mountaineering. One defect: a too small crampon pocket.
