General Comments

I bought a pair of these in 2003/4 to replace my Scarpa Alps, and these are my first predominantly leather free boots. I was looking for a good 3 season all rounder, and these certainly lived up to the challenge. A very good fit helped by the sensifit lacing system, although you need to get it right, which can take a few goes, otherwise they will pinch. They have certainly kept my feet dry, even when pushed to the limit in gully bashing. They initially gave me some trouble with bruising my shins, but after a few outings this soon stopped. The only downside is that they now stink. Yes they have been through a few bogs etc and gullies with stagnant water, but I've always washed and cleaned them well afterwards, yet they are still rather fragrant.

Good all round 3 season
For an all rounder they are very good, ideal for trekking and hiking and easy scrambling
