To keep up with globetrotting adventurers who want to get around unencumbered, MSR made a multi-fuel burning version of the WhisperLite Shaker Jet Stove. You can use MSR White Gas, kerosene, jet fuel or auto gas. MSR added a larger-diameter fuel line just in case poor quality fuel is the only option to get a meal on. Shaker Jet technology ensures that the stove jet can be easily cleaned by a simple shake. Despite the added features, no added complications go along—the WhisperLite Internationale 600 can be maintained in the outback and folds down to a very small size.

No problems so far...
I've owned this stove for about two years without an issue so far. In the Wind Rivers it did great even in areas with constant wind, once you're able to get it lit up at first. The included wind-screen does a decent job, and in general this stove's quality gives me confidence in it working when I really need it. MSR really seems to have got this market figured out in my opinion, this stove is very simple, but beefy enough to take average abuse without a hitch. Fuel flexibility is just another great selling point for the MSR.

Old Reliable
The first stove I owned. Still working today. Easy to do maintenance. Keep it cleaned and maintained and this thing should last forever. It is a blast furnace for heat even in the coldest conditons and regardless of the altitude. I have replaced the pump itself for breaking the pump handle by being over aggressive I guess. Light and go.

Good Stove
The Whisperlight is an excellent stove. I have used it exclusively for two seasons, and I would recommend it for anyone who doesn’t count ounces. It is easy to use and burns hot. It gets dirty very quickly from priming. It is fuel efficient great for long hauls if you don't mind the extra weight.

Blow Torch.
This stove is a blow torch. Good getting water boiled. Sturdy and nigh indestructible. Cooking can be difficult, considering "blow torch" seems to be the only setting.

Never has let me down
Once you get used to the lighting process it always fires up. Works well, burns hot, and doesn't use too much fuel. Its' been a tuff stove.

My only complaint: cost of a new pump
First, let me just say that all of the above reviews talking about the durability and general awesomeness of this stove are exactly correct. It is an awesome stove, thus my rating. Mine is about fifteen years old and, with a couple of rebuilds over the years, it still works like new.

So, my only complaint? A new pump now costs US$35. Thirty-five dollars!!! Seriously, MSR?! What the hell? It's the same simple plastic pump it's always been. Thirty-five US dollars for a pump that used to cost TEN?!? Come on.

All right, I've got that out of my system. Please note that my disgust for the price of a new pump did not effect my rating of the stove (5 stars), because the stove is frickin' awesome.

Got & love it
Although heavier than a canister, it hardly compares. This stove rocks in all conditions. A must have for cold and high climbs.

Love the stove but....
I really do love the ease of my Whisperlite International, it is extremely easy to use and efficiently gives me hot food in cold environments. Its a truly wondrous essential. However my only complaint, and I am hoping this is just user error that a simple suggestion will fix; The fuel line seems to be too tight and/or short, which causes the stove to never rest flat on the ground not matter how flat the ground is. Usually i bury the foot that pulls up in the earth a little or rest a rock on it. Does anyone have any suggestions?
