Went up with a group from Sea to Summit out of Bishop. Camped in the area for about 5 days and summited on the morning of the last day. No view as the summit was socked in with a snow shower.
Climbed w/ my friend Rachel, Al Green and Tom Sakai. Great day.

My 8th time on the summit. This was my fastest summit time so far. 72 minutes 50 seconds to summit from the wooden fence at the Indian Wells trailhead. Round-trip time 1 hr 59 mins 47 secs.

Twice A Knight...
Bagged it twice.....in one night! However, it was done to asssit in a SAR mission with China Lake SAR. Nice sunrise, however! ;)
The drive in was trickier than the climb. Fun day.

Mother's Day
Beats me what route we took! It was a trail MOST of the way but somehow we ended up doing the scree-scree dance on the southeastern side of the peak. Nice view of the valley and I enjoyed the wind up top emmensely! Thanks for the work-out Tina - I had no idea I was THAT out of shape! XXOO

IWV Trail
My 4Runner got stuck in the snow but I managed to get us out. A late start from near the trailhead (started hiking at ~ 12:45pm with Tina). This time I found the nice, sandy trail down. Back at the car just after 5:30pm. A fun day out.

Route Climbed: IWV Trail
Hiked with awagher. We snow camped (about 1" of snow) outside at the trailhead (5,400') Friday night. Temperatures Saturday morning @ 7:30am were 8 degrees F. Started hiking at 8:10am. Got a bit off route 2/3 of the way up...eventually found the snow-covered trail to the summit. Reached the summit at 10:50am. Waited for Andrew. Had a steady 20mph cold wind up there. We avoided the snowy slabs on the way down but ended up descending a tedious talus with fresh snow (slippery). Back to the car at ~ 1:10pm (a leisurely 5 hrs car-to-car). Drove to Indian Wells Brewery afterwards to fill up with Lobotomy Bock.

Climbed Morris, Jenkins and Owens from Walker Pass. Started in whiteout conditions after a spring storm had passed through the night before. It cleared up quickly to become a beautiful day.

Great hike and nice intro to the southern Sierra. Cold and windy on top. Slightly behind Ryan (crescentstrife) on the hike up -- he took a different route down.
