Park at the Golden Cliffs climbers parking (see Getting There in main text) and proceed up the trail to the base of the cliffs.

Once you reach the bottom of the cliffs head to the left. Keep walking all the way to the large class 1 ramp to the top of the cliff. To your right you can see a spray painted Theta Chi (θχ). The bolts are above. That is the route.

Route Description

This is only a suitable climb for first timers especially if they don't have rock shoes. The start and the finish are 5th class but the ledgy middle section is only 3-4th. It is a good confidence builder unless your friends are like mine and couldn't make it all the way to the anchor after you told them how easy it was. D'oh!

Stay right of the bolts (Little OX) using the face and crack.

Essential Gear

There is a two bolt anchor on top so just enough gear to use that.
