It's an amazing piece of history that's been preserved. Have you hiked it? If you have the itch, along with Satterfield's book, check out "Klondike Trail" by Jennnifer Voss. It gives you the info you need to hike the trail and then paddle down the Yukon to Dawson City, which we did last summer.
