Cool. Only $400K for an entire mountain range!
Interesting page and very good timing submitting it.
Maybe all the SPers could take up a collection to raise the $400K...
Hey, good timing and great page.
Daa! I hate privately owned/restricted mountains... We have some issues with them here in Oklahoma. Very well done page, you have disclaimed it well.
I agree with Super Dave, we should all go in on it. I'm in for $150. That's one hundred, not one hundred thousand. And I think it is great that people post mountains that require permission to climb as long as there is a disclaimer.
Texas just frustrates the hell out of me. If you want to hike in many areas of the state you have to trespass. And everyone is so damn proud about how they'd shoot you for it. Landowners are such freedom lovers, they soak up all the freedom for miles around. I'll never understand it...
It's where I grew up, and was happy to leave. Ok, end rant.
Thx for the update. I did read about all this on the bigbendchat page. The whole situation is rotten, I sense, which is unfortunate. I guess we can combine the Christmas Range with the Chinatis and create a "No Access Permanently In Limbo" State Park.....
